About Delran


Delran is a desirable suburban community found in Burlington County, with a population of approximately fifteen thousand five hundred residents. It was named after the nearby Delaware River and Rancocas Creek. Delran is home to Amico County Park, the proposed Anderson Farm Park and Swedes Lake, a ground water fed lake used by fishermen and hikers. The Delaware River and Rancocas Creek are popular spots for picnics and water activities. The Township has many parks and playgrounds which include tot lots, soccer fields, baseball fields with batting cages, basketball courts, a roller hockey rink, a football field and tennis courts.

Burlington County offers a number of recreational activities, historic attractions, cultural festivities and shopping adventures. A short ride will take you to both private and public Golf courses, the downtown areas of Moorestown, Mount Holly & Burlington City, Campbell’s Field – Home of the River Sharks, Adventure Aquarium, and nearby city of Philadelphia.

Delran is convenient to Route 130, 295, 73 and the Betsy Ross Bridge. NJ Transit and The River Line Light Rail system allow your commute to Philadelphia, Trenton, Camden, Atlantic City or New York City to be carefree. A 30 minute ride will take you to the Philadelphia International Airport or to Amtrak’s regional hub, the 30th Street Station.
